Please join us for a day of knowledge sharing and inspiration! POWERFUL XI: TOGETHER is brought to you by the Women in Architecture Committee with AIA Los Angeles. As a Vice Co-Chair of the WiA, Kristi will moderate a panel on Women Leading Design: Cultural Projects which will include Sharon Johnston, FAIA, Liz Mahlow, Crystal Wang, Kerenza Harris and Jane Parry. They will discuss the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University and the Orange County Museum of Art.
Kristi will also be a Panelist discussing firm ownership. She will be accompanied by Ety Benichou, Magdalena Glen-Schieneman, AIA, Deborah Richmond, AIA, Oonagh Ryan, AIA and Diana Peterson-More. We hope to see you there!

TABLE FOR TEN
Kristi Paulson was invited to be a Panelist for the very first TABLE FOR TEN Conference, Meet the Women Evolving Design, Construction and Real Estate. Together, women (and men) shared strategies and antidotes for succeeding in the male dominated industries of Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate and Construction. A special “thank you” to Mary Santamaria for creating this event which brought so many interesting people together to build new and lasting relationships. SCI-ARC STARTUP WORKSHOP
LAUNCH: Into the Business of Architecture. Kristi Paulson was invited by Herwig Baumgartner and Brooke Walbuck to lecture about her career and the business of architecture at SCI-Arc’s Startup Workshop. Both Kristi and Daniel Poei coached the students throughout the workshop to help them LAUNCH their mock businesses and consider their opportunities after their education.

Beginning January 2024, Paulson Poei Projects (formerly Behnisch LA) is official. Under the leadership of Kristi Paulson and Daniel Poei, former Partner and Director of Behnisch Architekten’s Los Angeles office, respectively, they have transitioned the studio into their own office.
